Eric has been practicing as a tax attorney for over 30 years. For five years of his career, he served as a litigation attorney for the Internal Revenue Service in the Office of Chief Counsel in Saint Paul. He has litigated hundreds of tax cases at both the federal and state levels and has represented countless clients administratively before the Internal Revenue Service and state tax authorities. Additionally, he has advised numerous clients on tax matters and reporting.

Eric graduated cum laude from Northwestern University in 1992 and cum laude from the University of Minnesota Law School in 1995.

Licensing
Eric is a member of the Minnesota and Wisconsin bars. He is licensed to practice before the U.S. Tax Court, the U.S. District Court for Minnesota, the Eighth and Ninth Circuit Courts of Appeals, the U.S. Supreme Court, and the U.S. Court of Federal Claims. Additionally, Eric has been admitted to practice pro hac vice in various other federal courts. He has also been recognized as a testifying expert in several tax cases.
